Clans:The Val

From The Orthorbbae Library

Jump to: navigation, search

The Val prefix signifies status as a Great Clan, the highest status a clan may have in Chel'el'Sussoloth. A Great Clan's Ilharess holds a seat on the City Council, and the clan is a great power in and of itself. A Val clan usually claims large areas in or around the Chel'el'Sussoloth cavern as its own.

There are nine seats on the City Council and there are ordinarily nine Great Clans in the city. If one should fall, it will be replaced by whichever lesser clan manages to grow strongest in its absence. Chel'el'Sussoloth currently has seven Val clans.
