Freyr van Niroenir

Freyr is a young light elf noble that at first stalks Chirinide Val'Kyorl'solenurn and her group during their journey to Vanaheimr, in order to find his lost sister Freyja van Niroenir, but later befriends them.

Appearance and Personality

Freyr is a black-haired young vanir noble who is passionate about changing the order of things for himself and his sister Freyja. He has trained to speak the enemy language of dark elves and doesn't hold back on his reservations against "darklings", but he is willing to cooperate with drowussu. Freyr is disgusted with the blinded attitudes of the Vanaheimr nobility.

Biography - Arc I

Freyr became separated from his younger sister when they ran into trouble with hostile Halmes from Nagyescsed, and the young boy launched an effort to retrieve her. He finally discovers that Freyja is alive and travelling with Chirinide Val'Kyorl'solenurn and a group of drowussu and slaveborn light elves--Freyr attempts to take her as the guardian mana forest attacks the group's camp, but is stopped by Chirinide and Templar Shan'naal Kyorl'solenurn. Even though he received an embarrassing bruise from the blonde drowussu, Freyr agrees to lead them out of the dangerous forest into Vanaheimr proper.

For their effort to return Freyja home, Freyr unsuccessfully attempts fulfill Chirinide's request to speak to Vala Hudr, and later has to rescue the drowussu children from the order to murder the guests. Freyr explains that his people do as their told an ask no questions, and that the elven court is blind to the times. He promises that one day he and Freyja will be able to reunite with Chirinide, free of control from their father Synos.

Biography - Arc II

Freyr has become an ambassador to the Order of Serenity, after Vanaheimr and the surface-based Kyorl'solenurn established contact and began dialogue. Parlay had been going for two month prior to Chirinide being sent to meet him.
