- This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!

Kor'maril leads warriors in defense of the Val'Sarghress Fortress.

Kor'maril first appeared when Ariel was being attacked by Jer'kol. He intervened on behalf of Ariel, much to the surprise of Jer'kol himself. He injured Jer'kol gravely.

Much later, when a nether gate is opened in a Sarghress territory, Kor'maril is requested to identify the remains of several Sarghress soldiers, including his mate, Celia. He took control of the situation and commanded the forces in the area while Quain'tana was busy. He concluded that the Vel'Sharen were likely probing the outer edges of the Sarghress-owned lands.

During the attack on the Val'Sarghress Fortress, orchestrated by Zala'ess Vel'Sharen, Kor'maril led part of the Home Guard in defending their home. While the Mae'yukir sealed the nearby nether gates, Kor'maril and his troops began slaying the demon-possessed drow.[1]

At some point in time, he fathered two children with Sil'lice Val'Sharen named Kau and Shala.

Biography - Arc II

Sarghress Civil War

After Sang was told of Quain'tana's imminent demise by the clan healers, she brought Ariel to the Niz'zre barracks, claiming that it was for her own safety. Kor'maril watched as his mother questioned the young heir about her intentions, and whether she planned to follow in her mother's footsteps or not. Sang then recounted her own experiences as a Sharen prisoner, after which Kor'maril told Ariel of Diva'ratrika's first attempt to assassinate Quain'tana.[2]

A short time later, a messenger came into the room, informing Sang of Quain'tana's failed healing session. The commander left Ariel in Kor'maril and Jak'iaah's care, ordering her to stay put. Kor'maril attempted to lighten the mood, commenting that there was still a chance for Quain to pull through. When Ariel decided to walk upstairs, Kor'maril and Jak'iaah followed, hoping to prevent her from doing something rash.

Their fears were realized when the heir suddenly asked Jak'iaah what she would do, were her mate Kev'ren in danger. After thanking Kor'maril for saving her before, when she was a child, Ariel apologized, using her wind magic to blast her guards backwards and jumping out the window.[3]

Biography - Arc III

Hunting of the Valblood

Commander Sang and her family were given the honor of hunting down traitors to the Alliance--specifically, Ariel and the Machike remnants, following the failed attempt by the Feldian Nidraa'chal to subdue them. It became known that Ariel's rebels would land in the Kyorl'solenurn colony Shikomei, and the Legion troops moved into position by sending a wolf pack vanguard to attack the drowussu. Kor'maril himself appeared in the colony soon after, alongside his mother.[5] The attack prrssured the rebel forces, though they were able to escape on the ship with drowussu survivors.

Confronting Ariel

Upon arriving in Felde to combat the rebel forces, Kor'maril took a squad of his own to engage Ariel's friends, as Kel'noz battled his mother and Mablevi. Kor'maril admitted that the clan was hunting the rebels due to the stronger-than-ever anti-Val movement, and that Sang was the only one strong enough to lead after Koil'dorath died. After this revalation and despite having overpowered her opponent, Ariel immediately surrendered as her lack of options became increasingly clear.[6]
