  • Nether Summoning

Ky'ovarde is a radical Warden of the Order of the Twin Eyes. Unlike most Kyorl'solenurn, she is willing to anything it takes to purge the heretics. In her mind, this includes the use of demon-based tactics if they are needed.

Appearance and Personality

K'ovarde is known for her extreme views and militant tactics. She is ruthless in the hunt for heretics, and is even willing to make use of heretical means in the name of the Goddess. To her, she is simply fighting fire with fire.

Ky'ovarde is rather tall and dyes her hair auburn with black streaks. She wears part of it up in a flat bun on the back of her head that uses sheathed daggers to hold it together. Her outfit is a mix of violet and white, with dark gauntlets. One of her eyes is always covered with a purple double bandanna wrapped around her head. Her visible eye is brown.

Biography - Arc I

Ky'ovarde uses nether summoning to form a demonic arm-blade.[1]

Ky'ovarde was once a Val'Dutan'vir warrior that was gravely injured during the Nidraa'chal War, but was given a second chance at life by a Kyorl'solenurn templar who offered a hand. From then on, she devoted her life fanatically towards killing demons and nether summoners, often at odds with other clan members.

When a nether gate is opening in the middle of a civilian territory, Ky'ovarde and several other members of her order are ordered by Ill'haress Shimi'lande Val'Kyorl'solenurn to track down any members of the Vel'Vloz'ress clan found outside the safety of their Rift. The Warden brings with her a group of Order of the Twin Eyes members consisting of Inquisitor Ae'theriss, Crusader Ano'toti, Templar Sang'oro, Warden Mili'ani and Templar Ron'nae. However, Inquisitor Desmonde of the Order of the Holy Eye accompanies them, presumably to keep an eye on the extremist Ky'ovarde.

Ky'ovarde tracked a group of demon-hunting Vloz'ress into the wilds outside of Chel'el'Sussoloth, moving along the trade routes of the Sarghress. She and her squad attacked the Vloz'ress troops from multiple angles, splintering off into a series of parallel fights. Ky'ovarde quickly sealed a nearby gate before squaring off against Sene'kha Vel'Vloz'ress, the summoner leading the Vloz'ress expedition.

While defending herself against Sene'kha's attacks, Ky'ovarde makes use of the demons she sealed to create a blade that feeds off her own body and blood. Sene'kha taunts the Warden as being a heretic for using demonic powers, while Ky'ovarde reasons that if she is using the demons to do the will of the Goddess, then it is acceptable. The two were equally matched, and the fight only came to a halt when a group of Sarghress lead by De'vess Quill'yate Yurun'hiir Sarghress arrived in the cavern to arrest both parties. Sene'kha then over-stretched herself by attempting to open another gate, distracting her long enough for Ky'ovarde to strike.

The Sarghress envoy took custody of the badly injured Sene'kha. Eventually, Sene'kha's fate was left in the hands of the Kyorl wardens, and Ky'ovarde had the pleasure of decapitating and immolating the Vloz'ress summoner herself.

Biography - Arc II

It is Ky'ovarde's responsibility to uncover who is manipulating the clan into doing certain things most of the clan feels uneasy about. Judicator Kousei instructed her, Miner'a, Lysire'indris and Rafal'za to find out who's behind the clan mess by any means necessary. Ky'ovarde and her associates tail Chirinide and confront the seer about what Shimi'lande left as a last message to her, but was met with hostility. Later, Ky'ovarde and her associates receive an order from Kousei to assassinate Judicator Kyuusei, at Chime's request. She throws the light elf's body into the main hall, for everyone to see.
