Family

Kyne is a Val'Sharen golem pilot of Sil'lice's line. She works for the Val'Sarghress clan training Sarghress troops to pilot golems.

Appearance & Personality

Kyne is a reasonably quiet woman. She is a talented pilot who is loyal to the Val'Sharen faction. She has shoulder-length white hair with thick bangs, the left half of which are dyed pale green.

Biography - Background

Kyne first appears during the events of the Nidraa'chal War, roughly 15 years before the main story. She fought in the war with her family under Sil'lice's command, and was at her side when the force was ambushed by a Nidraa'chal force under the command of Kalki. Her mother, Sae'ryne, was beheaded by Kalki in the ensuing battle.[1] She witnessed the horrible slaughter, but survived untainted. After the war, she followed Sil'lice into exile to the Val'Sarghress fortress.

Biography - Arc I

Once Sil'lice's presence in the fortress became publicly known, Kyne began to help the Sarghress troops by training them to pilot golems. She was the instructor in charge of training Sar'nel's Home Guard squad, and proved to be a fair and knowledgeable teacher.

During the push on the Val'Sharess tower (6th day, 7th Moon, Year 1114 MA), Kyne directly attacked Sarv'swati Vel'Sharen with her old golem. She managed to kill her aunt's dragon, but Vhidi'yani crashing a floater into the golem left Kyne open to a grievous axe wound to the chest. In a final act of desperation, Kyne detonates her golem in an attempt to take Sarv'swati with her.
