- This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!

Nehleanee is a ranking Vel'Sharen and nether summoner acting formerly acting as a liaison. In truth, she is a senior Nidraa'chal agent in service to Snadhya'rune.

Appearance and Personality

Nehleanee is a buxom female drowolath with dark purple hair and tainted eyes. Much like her half-sister, she is outwardly cheerful and upbeat with a tendency to smile. She is also quite devoted to family and is a caring mother, with a strong bond with her mate and daughter. However, to those outside her family, her outward cheer belies a haughty and cruel streak, and she revels in the suffering and destruction of her enemies. That said, her composure has been known to falter when sufficiently angered or alarmed. In terms of attire, she generally eschews armor and owns a very wide assortment of dresses that flatter her figure. She also wears a gemmed tiara of a make not dissimilar to that worn by many among the ruling Sharen.

Biography - Arc II

Under Kharla'ggen's control, Nehleanee is among those compelled to attack Zala'ess.[1]

District War Negotiations

Nehleanee first appeared during the waning hours of the District War, as Zala'ess and her allies prepared for the arrival of Quain'tana to negotiate the terms of a cease-fire or surrender. While the Illhar'dro Commander bombastically proclaimed the alliance's ability to challenge the Sarghress, Nehleanee mocked her refusal to actually commit her forces to an attack.[2] As Quain'tana arrived, Nehleanee began to record the meeting's minutes.[3] She immediately noted Quain'tana's aggressive demeanor as a poor start to the meeting, which soon fell into further disarray as an Illhar'dro golem broke into the building in a breach of the truce. Nehleanee was shortly held a swordpoint by one of Quaint'ana's Dragonslayer escort. As the meeting degenerated into a series of threats among the involved parties, Nehleanee smugly noted that her clan's practice of mandatory tainting would render them safe from an unrestricted use of nether summoning within the district.

While Zala'ess was able to regain a semblance of control over the meeting despite the disturbance, Quain'tana's patience had worn thin and she took hold of Zala'ess by the mouth and forced her to order the others from the room so they could speak in private, leaving Nehleanee little choice but to depart.

Puppeteer Incident

As with many others, Nehleanee was soon overtaken by Kharla'ggen as Ni'bai put her long-laid plans into action in what would later be known as the Puppeteer Incident.[5] No longer in control of her own body, Nehleanee was forced to make an attempt on Zala's life, but was prevented from succeeding by a seed-overtaken Sabrror, who seized her hair and forcibly dragged her off of his mate.[6]

Nidraa'chal Meeting

Shortly after the incident, and with the formation of an alliance between Zala'ess and Quain'tana, Nehleanee returned to Felde to provide Snadhya'rune with a briefing on the current status of Chel, alongside Xharidil'uit.[7] In particular, Nehleanee noted the severe disruption of trade and production as leading to significant food shortage, citing the disruption or fall of several major clans as a sudden source of further instability. As a servant entered bringing bread, Nehleanee hungrily devoured it, much to her own consternation and Xharidil'uit's amusement. Though she intended to inform Snadhaya'rune of the actions of the Kyorl'solenurn, Snadhya'rune informed her that she was already well aware of the clan's actions.

Nidraa'chal Assault

A mere six days after the formation of the Sarghress-Sharen alliance, Nehleanee returned under Snadhya'rune's orders to disrupt the fledgling alliance. As Sarghress forces moved to assault a tower belonging to her mistress, Nehleanee took part in the defense of the tower. As Bae'rali led her two sisters in an empathic assault upon the attacking force, Nehleanee took advantage of the chaos to summon a nether gate and unleash a horde of demons. Kadara, having been tasked with sealing the gate, located the rogue Sharen and a short battle ensued between the two women.[9] While Nehleanee was able to greatly weaken Kadara, the fierce woman managed to destroy the gate and deliver a pair of strong blows to Nehleanee's head and nose.[10] With her position revealed and her Nidraa'chal allies retreating under the continuing assault, Nehleanee fled the battle, unconcerned with Kadara's survival.

Duel of the Sisters

As the Sarghress attacks faltered as a result of their ongoing internal power struggle, Nishi'kanta finally decided to take a stand against her elder sister. Intent on providing a distraction for Chrys'tel and An'jin, Nishi'kanta arrived with a powerful golem to challenge her sister to a duel. Unsurprisingly, Snadhya'rune had prepared for the encounter and had no intent of honouring the challenge. From a nearby hall, Nehleanee prepared a nether gate to begin summoning aid for her mistress.[11] However, An'jin had infiltrated the compound in disguise. Managing to catch Nehleanee unawares as she began opening the gate, he slammed her face into a wall and succeeded in knocking her unconscious for the remainder of the battle.

Battling the Wolfpack

Three years later, Nehleanee was present aboard the Nidraa'chal airship as it undertook a mission to subjugate or eliminate Ariel's Wolfpack faction.[13] She wryly noted Kyo'nne's failure to peacefully compel her former friends to yield to Snadhya'rune's command. However, her cruel mockery was soon cast aside as the airship ran into a series of cables the Wolfpack had laid in the cavern as a snare. The impact threw Shelaan'rel against the floor, causing Nehleanee to rush to her side.

Days later, Ariel's Wolfpack launched an surprise assault upon the airship as it docked at the nominally neutral city of Sha'shi, unaware of their presence. As the boarders began rampaging throughout the vessel, Nehleanee spotted Kel'noz as he made his way towards the ship's engines. Ordering her daughter to hide, Nehleanee began summoning demons and advanced upon Kel'noz, intent on distracting him long enough for her allies to respond. However, Fame arrived with one of Kiel's demons. While the demon devoured Nehleanee's summons, Kel'noz blasted the foci out of her hand and pinned her against the vessel's roof with earth sorcery.[14] Unable to fight further, she desperately cried out for her daughter to flee.

At some point during the battle, Nehleanee was able to escape and successfully eluded capture.
