- This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!

Biography - Arc I

Sandaur'recherrai first appears as the combat instructor for Ariel's class during her first year at Orthorrbae. When asked by Khal'harror Val'Beldrobbaen on the purpose of knowing how to fight hand-to-hand when sorcery or golems can do the job for you, he's immediately hit from behind by Nau'kheol Vel'Sharen--Sandaur then asks what good would sorcery do if an enemy gets him from behind, as Nau did. When Khal replies that his spider would protect him from behind, Sandaur then makes an example out of Khal by scaring him with an Orc slave he plans to fight.

Biography - Arc II

Nuqrah'shareh Civil War

Main article: Nuqrah'shareh Civil War

During the Nuqrah unrest, the instructor has gone to Nuqrah'shareh to deal with the impending riots caused by lack of resources and Chelian refugees bringing the unrest to Illhar'dro lands. He finds several of his students on the Illhar'dro Palace Isle trying to fight invading rebel forces, quickly dispatching the enemies and calling for aid to heal the two injured girls, Ishii Val'Illhar'dro and Layani Vajdya Val'Illhar'dro. Sandaur moves further into the palace grounds and discovers Yafein Val'Sullisin'rune with his drowussu slave Perl, acting tough and pretending to be bigger than he is. The instructor urges Yafein to seek shelter--using force to prove his point--but Yafein points out that it's not him that Sandaur should be concerned with, but what was happening on the bridge with Rei'shiid's forces. By this time, a rebel mercenary confronts him and claims the Illhar'dro abandoned her after sending her band after Black Suns and leaving them to die. Sandaur counters that she and the other rebels are no better than Black Suns by spreading Chel's anarchy to Illhar'dro lands, and kills her.

Making his way through the palace, Sandaur discovers Shen'fya Val'Illhar'dro slaughtering Ssu slaves--he calls her completely mad when Shen'fya explains that it's better to kill the slaves before they turn on the Illhar'dro. Later on, Sandaur had gone looking for Queen Nega'fanea with urgent message about Chelian enemies in the rebel forces, and sees Balsii along the way; she tells him that Nega is in the Guest Palace, probably wasting time. The two are joined by Shodun and Balsii's guards and they make their way up the stairs, to where Nega is holding a meeting with Agneya'mukhi Balvhakara and Quian Jie'yen. He gives his report to the leaders, but suddenly Balsii and her guards draw their swords on Nega'fanea--he and the leaders try to reason with Balsii, to drop their weapons and seek a better solution to the riots, but Balsii merely orders her guards to kill Sandaur. Even when stabbed several times, Sandaur still manages to fight off some guards, but Shodun steps in and uses a spellsong scream to blast him through the glass windows and out of the top floor. He is instantly killed when he lands on one of the rooftops below.
