- Amateur Torturer
A Val'Illhar'dro Force Commander in the Sharen Alliance.
Appearance & Personality
Sonor'enai is a tall and imposing drowolath with blue hair and pale blue eyes. She wears heavy metal armor and ties her hair into a long pony-tail. She is fiercely proud of her clan, to the point of willfully blind bravado. She also strongly adores her Queen. Showing a softer side, young children cause her distress; despite desperately wanting children of her own, she is barren.
She is first seen during the negotiations between Quain'tana and Zala'ess. As Zala asks her advisors as to the state of the Alliance, Sonor adamantly refuses to admit any weakness in the face of overwhelming Sarghress might, despite the tenuous position of the Alliance. When Quain'tana enters and bluntly addresses Zala'ess as motherkiller, Sonor angrily rejects the accusation. The negotiations quickly falter and a large Balvhakara wargolem breaks the roof of the meeting room, directly threatening Quain'tana and her escort.
To prevent further escalation, Zala'ess simply apologizes to Quain'tana, infuriating the Sarghress leader. As Zala begins to spin Ash'waren's motives, Quain'tana finally loses all patience, grasping Zala'ess tightly by the jaw and forcing her to order everyone else out of the room. Sonor swears that the next time they meet, she will be ready, to which Quain'tana reacts with mere irritation.
Demon God Incident
Shortly thereafter, Ni'bai enacts her plot to use Kharla to control the power of a Demon God, and Sonor'enai is one of the many overtaken in what would later be called the Puppeteer Incident. No longer in control of her own body, she was forced to attempt to take Zala's life, but was prevented from doing so by the sacrifice of Sabrror.
"By standing our ground against the hordes, we make a statement: we shall not surrender our sisterlands of Chel!" - Regarding the ongoing war with the Sarghress.
