The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. ==Appearance and Personality==
Appearance and Personality
Before her fall, Laele shared the same ideals and philosophies as her mother, Quain'tana. She is described as having been driven, intelligent, and a worthy opponent in battle. In her current state however, she has lost her personality entirely. She can follow simple orders, but she is likely to fly into a bloodthirsty frenzy in which she swiftly slaughters any and all who get in her way. She can be calmed and focused by a musician when she enters this state of mind.
Nei'kalsa is tall woman with pale blue eyes and long hair. She wears robe-like dresses with her hair pulled back into an elegant braid, with a lock of hair dyed Sarghress-red. She is a patient and maternal individual, well-suited to her duties of tutoring young children.

Biography - Arc I
Nei'kalsa first appears during the period of Ariel's 10th birthday, having raised Sar'nel for a similar length of time. She brings him books to study, but is even and fair-minded with her instructions. Unlike Syphile, who taught Ariel with mandates and physical punishment, Kei'kalsa gave Sar'nel choices and taught him the consequences of a poor decision. As she moves to leave, she was interrupted by Sar'nel, who had discovered the doodles drawn by his book's previous owner, Ariel.

Laele is tall with long white hair that is pulled back in a braid. Her eyes are completely blank. She still wears the uniform of the Fallen Legion.
Later, Nei'kalsa was present when Ariel brought a captured classmate to the Sarghress Fortress throne room, delivering him to Quain'tana's feet as she had been ordered. The tutor watched silently as the young heir was then ordered to kill the one how had attacked her, though Ariel hesitated, having never harmed anyone before. Quain'tana was relentless - if Ariel refused to kill an enemy, then she would be forced to fight a fellow clanmate, Sar'nel, to the death instead. With Nei'kalsa remaining silent and watching with concern, the young boy stepped forward, ready to follow Quain'tana's command. Ariel's resolve sharpened, and she dispatched Mir'kiin as ordered. With her expectations now satisfied, Quain'tana declared Ariel her heir, with Nei'kalsa, Rosof and Mandroga bearing witness.

Biography - Arc I
Proud of her student and brother, Nei'kalsa complimented Sar'nel for his show of loyalty afterwards, telling him he had done well.

Heir to the Clan
Laele'aelle was born to Quain'tana Val'Sarghress early in the clan's history. She grew up in her mother's footsteps, and she soon became the pride of the clan. She quickly rose through the ranks of the Sarghress military until she came to lead her own honor guard. She was the perfect heir to the Val'Sarghress clan, and nobody doubted who would rule the clan if Quain'tana should fall.

Laele's Fall
At a later unspecified time, she accompanied Kel'noz to Machike'shikumo, assisting him with setting up the colony and waiting for Quain'tana's eventual arrival.
Unfortunately, Laele'aell's overwhelming successes did not last. She had an incident in which a demon destroyed her mind, leaving her an empty husk of what she used to be. She still seemed to have some capacity for following simple commands, but her now animalistic intelligence was clearly unfit to lead any troops at all, let alone the entire clan.

The Val'Sarghress clan mourned Laele's fall heavily. Quain'tana was devastated by the loss of her daughter and was forced to explore new avenues for a suitable heir to lead the clan.
Biography - Arc II
Conquest Of Chel
Nei'kalsa was present to greet Quain'tana upon her arrival to Machike at the head of the Sarghress vanguard, with their intentions to target surface colonies such as Daryako. She continued to attend the Illharess through the later war efforts, assisting her with administration tasks until her return to Machike.

The legion Laele had commanded changed their title to the Fallen Legion in respect to their beloved commander's plight. Mablevi took over control, and Laele was kept for whatever purposes she could hope to serve.
Sarghress Civil War
Nei'kalsa returned to Chel again at Kel'noz's request after hearing that trouble was brewing back home. She accompanied Rosof when they made their way to the Sarghress prison, where they expected to retrieve Ariel's body. Instead, they found Ariel still alive, albeit poisoned and having to be supported by Kau and Riviel as they climbed the stairs. When Ariel questioned Rosof, asking if Quain'tana was still alive, he confirmed that she was. Nei'kalsa also confirmed that the Ill'haress was alive, although she was on a rampage - her cousin had nearly been killed trying to approach her.

The Black Dragon
The Black Dragon Takeover
Years later, Quain'tana had found herself a promising new heir, Ariel Val'Sarghress. While exploring the city and accepting an invitation to  see an arena match at the Black Dragon tavern, Laele'aell was ordered to follow Ariel and protect her from afar. She remained hidden until Ariel hastily sparked a fight between the guards of the establishment and the Fallen Legionnaires protecting her.

Laele acted swiftly, indiscriminately murdering anyone that stood between her and the Black Dragon's owner, Lady Irena. When a nether summoner tried to use demons to defend herself, Laele'aell consumed the freed nether beings just as quickly as she'd slayed all the corporeal guards and gladiators.
As they attempted to reach Quain'tana in time before she was killed by the Home Guard, Nei'kalsa stuck by Ariel's side, and assisted her with making their way through a crowd of soldiers to reach the Ill'haress. While Ariel was trying to reason with Suu'be and standing between her and the fallen Quain'tana, a crossbow bolt flew past her head, nearly hitting Ariel and in turn, Nei'kalsa.

She was later calmed by a musician who had come along for this purpose. One of Ariel's guards, Jiv'kyn, requested that Laele not protect the young heir anymore due to the obvious dangers involved. Mablevi agreed, and Laele's whereabouts since then are unknown.
Later, Nei'kalsa was one of the group who escorted Ariel to Machike'Shikumo, where she and Quain'tana's other remaining grandchildren could rest in relative safety until the anti-val mutiny subsided. She was able to reassure Ariel that she would be able to see Kel'noz soon, once they arrived at their destination. When Ariel passed out due to aftereffects of Daxia's poison, she appeared unconcerned, sure that the heir would be fine once the shock and exhaustion had passed.

Biography - Arc II
The Little Wolf Returns To Machike
Laele escapes captivity while under watch of her caretakers Sakrag Sarghress and Rayata Sarghress, her seals that keep the flesh golem in place worn down and broken. Laele is able to hunt down the roaming horror Khaless, and seal the ethereal demon's entire essence. However, this causes Laele to overload and allow the demons inside her body to finally take over, becoming a demon herself. The body is finally slain by Gaes'riganis Am'saag Sarghress--who had been aiming to kill the remaining Vals of Sarghress--with a fatal blow to the skull.
Nei'kalsa led Ariel to Machike following the anti-val mutiny, and met Kel'noz at the entrance. Ariel marveled at the changes to the fortress, which Nei'kalsa confirmed was Kel'noz's work.

Notable Quotes
Now a free floating nether demon, the essence of Laele and Khaless found habitation inside Orthorbbae with Kiel, and found a love of playing children's games.
