is the headmaster of the boy's section of Orthorbbae, and is Diva's only known son. As a mere male he stays far away from the politics his sisters delve into, and thus he is one of the few Sharen that remain untainted.

He is loathe to give his sister Snadhya a reason to tinker with the male section of Orthorbbae. He warns Kel'noz Val'Sarghress of the dangers of bringing in a girl to the male's territory because it would mean a very difficult life. However, he is one of the five out of eight headmasters that vote to continue hosting Ariel in the Davya tower.

Although Ashu'athama is unconcerned about the dwindling student population, citing that children will come back eventually once the war in Chel finishes. However, he is worried about Kel'noz's disappearance and the Sarghress threatening to pull out from Orthorbbae entirely.
