==Summary==
===Chirinide's Vision===
As a Sarghress squad does their patrol duty, they eventually encounter a demon outbreak. During the battle with the demons, the squad leader [[Celia Sarghress|Celia]] was taken over by the demons and attacks her squad mates. [[Karan Sarghress|Karan]], [[Melindir Sarghress|Melindir]] and [[Seb'rath Sarghress|Seb'rath]] die while [[Yunir Sarghress|Yunir]] became [[Tainted]].

When Yunir encounters [[Chirinide]], she kills him because he was tainted, spouting Kyorl'solenurn belief that he would eventually become a demon himself. However, Chirinide herself is attacked by demons, including one with light skin before hearing a song and waking up. Chirinide realises that she just had a vision but is unsure on how to act on it.

===Acting On The Vision===
Chirinide seeks her templar companion, [[Shan'naal]], who was attending one of [[Valla'drielle Val'Kyorl'solenurn|Valla'drielle's]] classes at the Kyorl'solenurn school. Valla'drielle allows her to enter and take Shan'naal when she explains she had a vision.

Back at the Kyorl'solenurn fortress, as they encounter [[Kyo'nne]] before she was taken to the cleansing, Shan'naal concluded that the song she heard in her vision must have come from Kyo'nne, who being from the [[Val'Illhar'dro]], is capable of Spellsongs. Chirinide offers Kyo'nne two choices, to go through the cleansing or to accompany her and Shan'naal for what they are going to do next. After hearing from Shan'naal that cleansing is merely brainwashing, Kyo'nne chooses the latter.

Templar [[Tir'ade]] then enters and Chirinide immediately realises he was the light-skinned demon she fought in her vision and is uncertain whether to act or not would lead to the predicted future. Tir'ade reports that there is a demon outbreak and the four go to purge the demons.

===Purge===
When Kyo'nne reacts with disgust at how the Kyorl'solenurn kills every tainted they see, Shan'naal merely explains that it is their duty, even if it means they are hated, causing Kyo'ne to become infatuated with him. They eventually find a nether gate and Chirinide attempts to close it but they are attacked by demons, including the fallen Celia. Kyo'nne uses her Spellsinging, which disrupts the demons long enough for Chirinide to avoid dying or getting tainted, but someone else had closed the gate and Chirinide does not know who. Though the four succeeded in defeating the attacking demons, they realised Tir'ade was tainted during the battle.

Though Tir'ade initially looked like he was prepared to die by Chirinide's blade because of his taint, he blocks her blade, deciding that he would rather live. He then flees and Shan'naal mourns for him, knowing that Tir'ade can never return to the clan. As these events unfold, it turns out they were watched by [[Vy'chriel Vel'Sharen|Vy'chriel]], who was please at the deaths of the Sarghress and was responsible for opening the gate and later closing it in the hope the Kyorl'solenurn will focus their attention on the [[Vel'Vloz'ress]].
