Ishii was training with other Illhar'dro children and Nyo'ka's two kids on the Palace Island, when the mercenary rebels attacked. She had her tongue cut out by one rebel when her spellsong failed to convince them to turn away.
She is later seen sitting out in the rain with commoners as Nau'kheol Vel'Sharen passes her by.
