- This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!

Once faithful servant of Yami'ni, now a tortured pet of Snadhya'rune.

Appearance & Personality

Jiaan is a tall and well-built drowolath. He has blue streaks in his light coloured hair, and wears standard Vel'Sharen teal armor with the collar lined in fur. He is utterly devoted to Yami'ni; serving her without question, acting as her protector and knight.

After his ordeal on the stolen Illhar'dro airship, Jiaan bears many, many scars and little to no clothing as a reminder of the torture he endured under Kalki's associates. During this time Jiaan was tortured mentally by the three Sullisin'rune sisters, developing a deep hatred for empaths.

Following his merging with his seed, his outlook and personality change drastically. His old loyalties are cast aside, in favour of Snadhya'rune and her cause. He serves his new master with every ounce of dedication he displayed prior to Yami'ni.

Biography - Arc II

Nuqrah'shareh Civil War

During the Nuqrah'shareh Civil War, he is part of the group sent by Zala'ess Vel'Sharen to secure the Ilhar'dro airship, but fails this mission when they encountered three hostile Val'Sullisin'rune empaths. Yami'ni reacts to the empath's suggestion of her being infested by attempting to carve a demonic gate in the ship's floor, only to be fatally wounded by Kalki Nidraa'chal. Jiaan, in his rage, attacks Kalki rather than withdraw with Chrys'tel, Nau'kheol and Quar'imar.

Arrival in Felde

His fate was unknown to Chrys'tel until he was suddenly thrown down at Snadhya'rune's feet in Felde. Beaten, tortured, and broken, Jiaan suffered immensely at the hands of the ship's crew. Kalki offers him up to her mother as a "gift"; Jiaan in his struggle to stand pledges to the Nidraa'chal leader, who immediately tells him to fight for his life if he wishes to serve her. Jiaan engages in combat with the Teikaliath, Dycle, and manages to resist the other man's empathy attacks, killing him. Impressed with his skills, Snadhya'rune declares that she sees a bright future ahead for Jiaan.

Shortly thereafter, he is used to further demonstrate Snadhya'rune's technique of forcefully merging the tainted with their seeds. Having successfully merged, his outlook changes drastically from that held by his former self. As the Kavahini attack the fortress, he is forced to protect his newfound mistress as a group of intruders successfully reach the eldest daughter. Though initially overpowered, Jiaan manages to recover and brings down one of the intruders, Myridil.

However, while the Kavahini warriors are unable to directly reach Snad'hyarune, the battle is enough of a distraction to allow Erelice to sneak up on the Sharen matriarch. Having been grievously wounded by the sneak-attack, Snadhya'rune enters a blind fury. Though Chakri and Mikilu manage to escape, Myridil is crushed to death in front of Jiaan, putting an end to the battle.
