Kusette is a Feldian mercenary serving aboard one of the city's patrol boats.

Appearance & Personality

Kusette is a small female drowolath with grey eyes. She has long white hair braided into very loose dreadlocks. She is rather foul-mouthed when provoked, and her loyalty and sense of duty is directly proportional to how well she and her peers are treated by their superiors.

Biography - Arc III

Kusette first appears as one of the few survivors of the patrol boat destroyed by Shodun during her clash with Quill'yate.[1] As she clings to the side of the ruined vessel, she begins to loudly object to Shodun's reckless assault and the resulting friendly fire it caused, but is callously dismissed by the cruel Nidraa'chal agent. This does not endear Shodun to Kusette, and when the warrior is dragged underwater by Quill'yate, Kusette states a preference for letting her drown. Witnessing the massive destruction throughout the city, Kusette's sense of duty is left rather depleted.

As Quill'yate emerges from the waters exhausted but prepared for further battle, Kusette meekly declares her newfound neutrality. Accepting this and seeking a moment's respite, Quill'yate sits beside Kusette and the two women forge a small bond over mutual commiseration regarding the state of their respective cities.[2]

Notable Quotes

"I have no quarrel with you. Go fight someone else."[3] - Kusette elects to not fight the Commander of the Highland Raiders.
