When editing articles, citing your source material is key to make the wiki work as a reliable resource for canon information. The primary way to cite your source is by the use of the <ref> tag. The rest of this article serves as a demonstration of the usage of this tag.
Note that for the list of references to appear, the article must be closed by the {{last update}} template.

You place the <ref> tag into your text after the section for which it is relevant <ref>This is an example of referenced text</ref> The tag may contain a simple text <ref>Moonless Age Book 1</ref>, a link to a comic page <ref>{{ChapterRef|3|15}}</ref> or a traditional link <ref>Moonless age news post from March 23, 2012 [http://www.drowtales.com/wordpress/?p=3903]</ref> {{last update|36}}
