- This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!

Waer is a veteran Sarghress beastmaster in charge of the Homeguard wolf pens.

Appearance & Personality

Waer is a lean male drowolath with grey eyes. He wears tan studded leather armor and a simple decorative headband. He is rather heavily scarred, with claw macks on his right cheek and a partial prosthesis covering his right ear. He is a stubborn and uncouth individual, with an extremely lax and informal manner of speech. He is an avid supporter of the Sarghress ideals, with firm belief that only ability and rank determine authority, not birth.

Biography - Arc I

Waer first appeared during Ariel's break from Orthorbbae after her fourth year at the school. With Faen in tow, Ariel attempted to persuade the belligerent pen master to allow them access to one of the wolves. While Waer was adamant in his refusal to grant Ariel's request on her Val status alone, Jer'kol appeared and demanded Waer allow them to have a wolf, claiming Waer owed him a favour. Though Waer refused to acknowledge any such debt and remained opposed, he was unable to deny Jer'kol the right to lend his own wolf to the the girls. Frustrated and ultimately unable to prevent the tomfoolery, Waer reluctantly allowed the girls to take Jer'kol's wolf with only a half-hearted command to not lose it.[1]
