- This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!

Biography - Arc II

Nuqrah'shareh Civil War

An'jin is tasked with assisting Overseer Chrys'tel with discovering who is behind the coup in Nuqrah'shareh. He expresses initial dislike for the Vel'Sharen, but when the group realizes that Sulissin'rune empaths are behind the war and Sarghress legions trampled Saosh, An'jin turns his ire on the Chelian clans. Along with the Balvhakara, his clan has offered their services to Zala'ess Vel'Sharen.

Sabotaging the Whispering Tower

Main article: Nuqrah'shareh Civil War side story

Later, An'jin accompanies Chrys'tel and a team that includes Craft Lumesowa Dusk, Nau'kheol Vel'Sharen and Sara'hilana Balvhakara on further missions to help quell the last remnants of the rebellion, with the goal of capturing the rogue Val'Illhar'dro summoners and destroying the local whispering tower. After discovering a war golem in the vicinity of the tower that had participated in the rebel's forces defending the High Palace, An'jin and the others captured the golem's pilot in a nearby house. The co-pilot was killed by Craft when they discovered that she had been tainted during the battle. After Craft departed the group following a disagreement over the execution of their prisoner, the rest regrouped outside in an attempt to capture the pilot within the war golem. Luckily, the golem's cores had already been depleted, leaving it without its usual heavy artillery, and the pilot was captured after accidentally knocking herself out during the struggle.

After the struggle was over, the group caught their breath and discussed the recently overheard discussions among their matriachs, confirming that Balvhakara and Jie'yen clans had also pledged their support to the alliance.

Felde

An'jin travels with Kiel'ndia Vel'Vloz'ress to aid Chrys in her search for the truth behind her family's conspiracies. An'jin is also tasked with spying on the seemingly non-combative First Daughter for Nega'fanea, where he learns from Kyo'nne that Snadhya'rune was planning something big. That event was the announcement of Nidraa'chal plans for Chel's leadership through biological warfare and air support using the stolen Illhar'dro ship. Following that, a public execution of Sarghress assassins was held using that ship, and Snadhya'rune signaled for her faithful to round up all spies and dissidents in her borders. An'jin was one of those caught, and was thrown in prison beneath the fortress--luckily, Kiel'ndia had a change of heart and decided to free him.

Escape from Felde

During the invasion of Felde by the Kavahini clan, An'jin initially rejected Kiel'ndia's offer to free him, saying that Snadhya'rune would only demand his return. Kiel'ndia insisted that he escape, however, telling him that Snadhya'rune would likely be too busy to worry about one spy. She then turned to the Sarghress prisoners - Erelice and Vayas'arn Sarghress - and offered to free the two in return for creating a distraction.[1] Erelice agreed, on the condition Kiel and An'jin took Vayas'arn with them.[2]

In Search of the Cure

When Chrys'tel Vel'Sharen set out to locate Snadhya'rune Vel'Sharen in hopes of finding a cure for the madness toxin inflicted on her mother, An'jin agreed to assist her. He followed the Val'Nal'Sarkoth envoy, knowing that they were at least sympathetic to the First Daughter and hoping that by splitting up they would cover more ground.[3] His plan succeeded, and after following the Val'Nalsarkoth to their home territory, An'jin was able to confirm Snadhya'rune's presence.[4]

Battle at the Val'Nal'sarkoth Fortress

After gaining the assistance of Nishi'kanta Vel'Sharen, the team consisting of Chrys'tel, Nishi'kanta, An'Jin, and Sara'hilana Balvhakara infiltrated the Val'Nal'sarkoth Fortress. Nishi'kanta created a diversion by assaulting the fortress with a powerful war golem and confronting Snadhya'rune directly, allowing the others to set up a counter-ambush for Snadhya'rune's followers who had accompanied her. An'jin, dressed as a servant once again, was able to ambush Nehleanee Vel'Sharen, taking her out of the fight before she could finish summoning demons through a nether gate.[5]

Shortly after the battle started, the fight began to shift in favor of Snadhya'rune's followers. An'jin was forced into cover as Shinae Vel'Sharen targeted him with her pressure sorcery. As he was hiding, he managed to spot an opportunity to assist Nishi'kanta by co-opting one of Salbara's spy golem drones and throwing it like a shuriken at Snadhya's head. His aim struck true, and the move stunned Snadhya long enough for Nishi'kanta to strike with her fire sorcery.[6]

The turn of the battle only proved to enrage Snadhya'rune, who summoned an outer exoskeleton of stone in the form of a dragon summon. Sara'hilana urged An'jin to leave, as the battlefield was quickly becoming even more dangerous than before. An'jin refused, however, telling Sara that this might be their only chance to destroy Snadhya'rune.[7] After watching the draconic summon-form appear to swallow Nishi'kanta during the battle, he finally agreed to retreat, saying that they had failed their mission.
