This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!
Appearance and Personality
As a mere male, Ashu'athama stays far away from the politics his sisters delve into, and thus he is one of the few members of the Vel'Sharen clan that remain untainted. Because of his precipitous position of power, he is loathe to give his sister Snadhya'rune a reason to tinker with the male section of Orthorbbae.
Biography - Arc I
Meeting of the Headmasters
As the senior Headmaster of the male section of Orthorbbae, Ashu'athama ran the meetings held between the male Headmasters of the school. After Kel'noz arrived to a meeting following his visit to the Sarghress terriroty, he chastied the younger Headmaster for his tardiness. As other masters moved to begin their respective reports, Kel'noz informed the assembled group of Ariel's arrival and true gender, as well as his desire for secrecy.
This idea was met with a level of skepticism from the other Headmasters, who noted both the risks of drawing Snadhya'rune's attention and the high likelihood of the secret being discovered. Kel'noz pointed out that, even should the secret be uncovered by Ariel's peers, they were forbidden from leaving the tower during their next five years of study. Trusting his fellow Headmasters to ensure their masters would not reveal the secret, Kel'noz announced his intention to take full responsibility for any consequences of housing Ariel in the male section of the school. As the matter was put to the vote, Ashu'athama voted in favour, reminding Kel'noz that he would be held accountable. Ultimately, the vote passed and Ariel was allowed to remain in Davya tower.
Ashu'athama also hosted the tournament held between the boys' towers of the school. He recited the rules and encouraged the students to bring glory to their respective towers.
Years later, when Chel'el'Sussoloth found itself on the brink of war between the major clans, Ashu'athama was relatively unconcerned about the dwindling student population, citing that children will always come back after the war. However, he showed serious concern over Kel'noz's recent disappearance and the possibility of the Val'Sarghress clan pulling out from Orthorbbae entirely.
Biography - Arc II
During Sil'lice's purge of Orthorbbae, Ashu'athama personally bars her entry into the male towers, insisting the boys within are innocent and have nothing to do with their sister's schemes. Though Sil'lice places her blade at his throat, she does not strike as Ashu'athama further chastises his sister for taking her vengeance to such extremes. Any further confrontation between the two is postponed as Sil'lice departs to chase Kiel and Nau'kheol, who had been spotted ascending in one of the lifts to the rumored Ninth Tower.
"Killing the one who betrayed you is one thing. To drag us all with you is madness." - While blocking Sil'lice's entry into the male section of Orthorbbae.
