- This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!

Beryla'zuli is a mixblood Dutan'vir that participated in the effort to reclaim the ancestral Dutan'vir lands.

Appearance & Personality

Beryla'zuli is a short and rather well-endowed female mixblood with pink eyes. She dyes her hair black and styles it into a large ponytail with a prominent side-plait. She is extremely cheerful and excitable, even in situations others find dangerous. While extremely chipper, she is by no means innocent and can be quite the pervert. She dresses in an ornate tunic dyed in vibrant hues of blue and pink.

Biography - Arc II

Defending the Dutan'vir Fortress

Beryla'zuli first appeared as one of the many that responded to Minka's call to reclaim the ancestral Dutan'vir lands, defending against a Kyorl'solenurn siege led by Holy Mother Valla'drielle. After Sker'ligr succeeded in disrupting the siege's attempts to take the gate, Beryla'zuli took up a position in the battlements to provide sniper fire with her crossbow.

While she gleefully noted she had scored a hit on one of their besiegers, she couldn't help herself but to gush with appreciation as another of her bolts was deflected by one of the Kyorl'solenurn Inquisitors directing elements of the siege, much to the confusion of her peers. As a fellow sniper asked for more bolts, Beryla'zuli responded that she only has one remaining. Taking the bolt, the archer declined Beryla'zuli's offer to use her longview. As the archer took aim at Valla'drielle herself, Beryla'zuli noticed the Kyorl'solenurn had begun to target their position and called out for her peers to fall back from the windows.[3] Though Beryla'zuli was able to take cover in time to avoid the barrage, her ally was injured by the resulting debris.

Fall of the Fortress & Capture

Shortly after, she was present alongside a medic as the Dutan'vir forces responded to the presence of Kyorl'solenurn saboteurs that had managed to infiltrate the fortress. Unnerved, she noticed the large amount of damage done to the structure within the room, but was unable to grasp the full extent of the damage caused throughout the fortress. While no single room had been truly demolished, the damage was sufficient to greatly weaken the fortress as a whole, causing a significant portion to collapse onto the civilian district below. Having suffered extensive losses and unable to defend against such a brutal tactic, the Dutan'vir were forced to surrender. Beryla'zuli was among the surviving defenders taken captive.

While Valla'driella announced her intention to spare those who had once been faithful, she declared that the rest of the captured Dutan'vir would be publicly executed. Given Beryla'zuli had never been a member of the Kyorl'solenurn clan, it is likely she would have suffered this fate had Anahid not shortly thereafter ascended to the position of Holy Mother and ordered the release of all the captive Dutan'vir.[4].
