Hydean

Hydean is a female vel'akar in the service of Snadhya'rune.
Appearance & Personality
Hydean has the body of a tall female drowolath with demonic eyes. She has blue hair tied into a short bun. While her body is - broadly-speaking - unchanged in overall form, she has suffered visible mutations, most prominently gaining a large prehensile tail. The majority of these changes are hidden by a mask and full-body suit that conceals the most unsettling changes while flaunting her curvaceous build.
Perhaps a result of her nature as a vel'akar born of a possessed drowolath, she has a deeply conflicted sense of self. While she has inherited her host's strong sense of pride in her beauty, she is also deeply ashamed of the physical deformities her transformation has wrought. To cope with this, she thoroughly covers her body, treating her suit as a second skin that she cares for meticulously. She also relies heavily on sign language so as to avoid speaking, as her host's once-smooth voice has been ravaged beyond recognition. Any exposure of her demonic features, particularly her face, triggers a psychotic rage.
However, so long as she is able able to conceal her negative mutations, she is a pleasant and even outgoing individual, readily showing off her unnatural flexibility to unnerve others for her own amusement. She is naturally curious and seeks to uncover others' secrets with nearly as much obsession as she conceals her own. While quite stealthy, she is highly embarrassed when seen and, much as with her deeper insecurities, seeks to conceal her mask behind her hands.

Hydean first appeared as the Coalition forces breached the gates of the Council dome, assisting Nehleanee in the creation of a large nether gate to repel the intruders.[1]
