This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. Laan'vanya is a Beldrobbaen Dev'ess and mother of the girl who infected the clan with flower spores.
Appearance & Personality
Laan is a tall and buxom drowolath with raven hair and grey eyes. She wears her hair loose and dresses in fine robes worn over a large corset.
She first appears in the chaos surrounding the Beldrobbaen clan in the immediate aftermath of the Puppeteer Incident, as the clan begins to suffer a mysterious affliction. One of the may clan's many Dev'ess to ignore a summons by Waes'soloth, she secludes her house within their tower and bars the door for fear of the infection beyond.
Naubol'oth takes it upon himself to investigate, startling Laan's sixth daughter when he enters the tower through the young girl's bedroom window. As he gives chase while attempting to calm her, she runs to the side of he mother, informing her of the intruder. Surprised by his presence, Laan'vanya interrupts herself to ask if he entered from the main tower. She then explains the nature of the infection, and Naubol'oth hurries to inform the others of his clan.
It appears she was unaware that the infection was spread by her very daughter, and her reaction to the revelation of the betrayal is unknown.
"Master Naubol! I did not expect you to--Wait, did you come through the main tower to get here?"<ref>Chapter 48, page 18</ref> - Upon realizing her quarantine has been bypassed.
