- This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!

This article contains all the Moonless Age page announcements made by the authors of the canon sidestory, Jaal'darya Investigation. These often elaborate on or clarify details not explicitly stated in the comic itself, but regardless provide a sort of commentary for each page. Jaal'darya Investigation was written by Catriana, and illustrated by Starlitdragon and Reza.

Page Announcements

Pages 1-10

Page 1

Kern: Every Saturday for the month of January and February will feature a couple pages of a sidestory that follows Wafay's report in Chapter 35. The story has been in the making for 2 years now and so takes place before the Sarghress victory.

Page 2

Kern: Sata is reunited with Wafay and the Sarghress squad departs on their mission.

No official announcement.

Page 4

Kern: This update feature three pages. Two drawn and colored by Starlitdragon. Third drawn by Reza who came to the rescue of the project to bring it to completion, but still colored by Starlit. With Catriana still at the helm of the project from beginning to end. There will be 5 more parts to this side story.
Catriana: None of the squad members are from the Kal'yantra. Briz'dra is a former Illhar'dro, though.

No official announcement.

Page 6

Catriana: The squad has finally made it, although it's likely they were allowed safe passage. Erelice immediately notices something strange: A male out in the open. The Sarghress are then led through the compound, to encounter a few more surprises.
There are some characters from the Jaal'darya story on DD that have made it onto these pages. Can you find them?

Page 7

Catriana: And this is why you bring a spellsinger around on missions. The squad isn't immune to her singing, but a gentle shake (or in Erelice's case a swift kick to the head) takes care of that.

Page 8

Catriana: The Sarghress squad continue their investigation and come across some startling finds just before something finds them.

Page 9

Catriana: The Sarghress surrender and are brought before the council. They report their findings and a verdict is passed. What will happen to [Femi]] when - or if - she returns? Who knows.

Page 10

Catriana: Erelice presents their case, withholding key information they had discovered. Whether or not the Jaal discover it isn't their concern; what matters most is getting the information to Quain'tana ASAP. What began as a pointless, but lucrative, mission (in their eyes) turned out to reveal more than they could have realized. What of the Jaal and Asira'malika? She is obviously not going to let things stand as they are, but will she become a hindrance or a potential ally (at least in this situation)?
This squad has seen more than anyone else has of the Jaal'darya and their technology save for the very elite and lived to tell the tale. No doubt they'll have stories to share, of strange sea creatures that live in the waters and males everywhere. At the very least, it'll give Vayas'arn some inspiration for her golem engineering.
Thanks for reading.
