- This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!

The ancient Dev'ess of the Azaeloth house.

Appearance & Personality

Thalestris is an incredibly aged Dark Elf with gray hair and pale purple eyes. It appears she is suffering from the earlier stages of mana deprivation, likely due to her advanced age and the relative isolation of the Val'Beldrobbaen. She is a staunch traditionalist and strongly set in her ways, with a ruthlessly pragmatic streak regarding threats to her house and clan.

Biography

She is first seen as one of only two Dev'esses to attend Waes'soloth's summons following the Puppeteer Incident. Agitated by the lack of attendance, she moves to adjourn the meeting before being over-ruled by Waes. As reports come in of erratic behavior from the other houses, Waes sends couriers to demand explanations, but is interrupted by a report from Verthandi regarding the flower poison and Snadhya'rune's offer of a cure.

With the nature of the threat now clear, Thalestris takes her leave to initiate a purge of the infected houses. At least one tower is collapsed before Waes'soloth opens the fortress to aid from Jaal'darya, who claim to have experimental treatments to the infection.

Notable Quotes

"We must kill the few to save the many." -In response to the spread of infection within the Beldrobbaen fortress.
