This wiki is very much under construction. The original wiki was set to be shut down and the wiki was largely mirrored to a Fandom-based version, though most of the reference images had not yet been copied over. This migration was put on hold when it appeared the original wiki could in fact be retained, however the old wiki was lost in its entirety when the server was among the many taken down by a massive series of cyberattacks on data centers during early February, 2023. It is now being rebuilt with the launch of Hel. Sorry if it's a little messy right now!
Appearance and Personality
Abyte has a mixture of disciplined Kyorl'solenurn stoicism and carefree Sarghress gumption. She laughs and cracks crude jokes readily, but has her serious moments - especially when comforting a fellow Kyorl heretic.
Abyte has short white hair that is dyed a blue-gray color at the ends. She has the mark of a heretic engraved on her forehead and tainted red eyes.
Biography - Arc I
Abyte was originally in training to be a warden of the Val'Kyorl'solenurn clan. During the Nidraa'chal War, she was a seal holder set to follow an unnamed warden into battle. She was doing well until her warden made a mistake, launching a particularly strong demon straight into Abyte's chest.
Abyte was tainted from the blow, and afterwards branded a heretic by her clan. They shaved her head, threw her in a dungeon, and prepared her for execution. Starving and close to death from infection, Abyte's brother broke the law of the clan to free Abyte and take her to the Val'Sarghress clan for asylum. She joined the Mae'yukir house as a sealer and was eventually partnered with Tir'ade when he escaped a similar fate.
Biography - Arc III
When out tilling the fields of Shikomei for the coming spring season, Abyte handed Tir'ade a drink while her mate tried his best to console Shan'naal, who was very worried and gloomy about the prospect of having to raise a light elf child with a pregnant Chirinide in a society that does not accept them<ref>Chapter 53, page 6</ref>. She too wishes to start a family, but worries about the rumors that their children will be corrupted by the taint.
"Give it time. We're all rejects in the Mae'yukir." - To Tir'ade, comforting him regarding his exile from the Kyorl'solenurn clan.<ref>Chapter 31, page 26</ref>
